BALTIMORE, May 21.-The Buenos Ayres government sloop of war Independence, & tender, have arrived here from a cruise of five months. Salutes were exchanged between her and Fort M'Henry. The Independence left the river La Plata on the 5th December, with despatches from the government of Buenos Ayres to the Court of Brazil, where she arrived on the 10th January. She mounts one forty two and fourteen eighteen pound carronades, with a complement of one hundred and fifty men, under command of Lieut. Col. J. S. Grimanos. [American.
