Board Elects Teachers

At the meeting of the school board last week, teachers were elected for the ensuing year, and contracts sent to them, with the exception of superintendent, the board not having yet decided upon a superintendent. The teachers elected are as follows:

High School
H. W. Webster, Science.
Miss Vesper Hall, English.
W. S. Pooley, Commercial.

Grades
J. M. Davis, Grammar room.
Miss Frances Comer, 5th-6th.
Miss Gertrude Gilley, 3rd-4th.
Miss Mary Wilson, Primary.

Practically all of these have signed their contracts. The only change from the present year is the election of Miss Gilley for the 3rd and 4th grades, and Mrs. Garber, the present teacher, was not an applicant. Miss Gilley taught this room for two years, but has been at the normal school at Cheney this year.
