Volunteers for Mexico. A new company of volunteers for the war against Mexico is about being raised in the western part of the city. Fifty-five men have already signed their names, and when the number reaches a hundred they will embark for the scene of operations. They call themselves the "Baltimore Rangers," and if the Government fail to accept them they will pay their own expenses and doubtless do good service in "the tented field." They have chosen Thomas G. Richards, Captain; James L. Armstrong, 1st Lieutenant; and Thomas W. Bunting, 2d Lieutenant. The other officers will be chosen at their next meeting.
