Alamo Community House Is Now Open to Public
ALAMO, May 11-(Spl.)—Culminating a year's effort the Alamo Community Building was completed last week.
The project was backed by seven community organizations in Alamo. American Legion, City of Alamo, Lions Club, Garden Club, Chamber of Commerce, Legion Auxiliary and Sorosis Club. The president of each has made up the building committee, and will continue to be the governing board.
The building is valued in excess of $7,500. Practically all the materials was bought at cost before the advance in price.
Plans are being completed for the dedication dinner to be held on May 15, at 8 p.m.
