By private Letters from London, of a late Date, to several Gentlemen of this Colony, there is Advice, "That notwithstanding all the Measures that have hitherto been taken, to preserve Peace between Great-Britain and Spain, there is now the greatest Likelihood of War; the Demands of Spain being such, as cannot, with Honour, be comply'd with, by Great-Britain: That great Preparations of War are making, on both Sides, by Sea, and Land; and that a Rupture is daily expected."
