The most extraordinary of the many extraordinary oil wells discovered in Pennsylvania, was opened at Tideout, Erie county, on the 10th ult., by Rev. Mr. Hequembourg.
At a depth of 175 feet oil was struck, and it has since been coming to the surface in a voluntary flow of one barrel a minute!
