Entertain Town Vice Chairman
Miss Mary Potter, State Central
Committee Woman from the 28th
district, entertained last Tuesday afternoon the Windham County Town
Vice Chairman of the fifteen towns.
Mrs. Clinton Frink, State Central
Committee Woman of the 29th district
presided at the meeting.
The speakers were: Mrs. George
Weston, Plainfield, and Miss Katherine
Byrne, Putnam, National Committee
Woman. There was a round
table discussion upon "Organization
of Club and Campaigns Work," all
chairmen taking part.
Several of the young Republicans
from Woodstock were present, and
reported upon their plans for the
coming year. Miss Potter served refreshments assisted by her cousin,
Miss Nettie Phillips, Mrs. Arthur
Morse, Mrs. Annette Clark,
Miss
Marion Cady, Miss Constance Williams,
Miss Augusta Starr and Miss
Julia Swenson.
