DES MOINES, Ia., March 22. -Bessie Servis, of Washington, Ia., died in a hospital at Marshalltown today. She was injured in the Rock Island wreck near Reinbeck yesterday. Her death brings the total list of dead up to 47.
Many of the injured in the hospitals are declared today by attending physicians to be in critical conditions.
It is believed that some of them cannot survive.

DES MOINES, Ia., March 22.-
An investigation of the wreck will be undertaken by the state railroad commission. The railroad officials, who have carried on an investigation of their own, have not announced the cause of the accident.
The morgue and hospitals at Marshalltown, where the dead and injured were taken, are crowded with wreck victims. All of the dead and injured were residents of the middle west, and every train is carrying anxious people there in an effort to identify the victims.
Most of the dead have been identified.
The wreck occurred when a double-header Rock Island passenger was derailed on the Chicago-Great Western tracks, which were being used on account of a blockade on the Rock Island tracks.
