Full Text

The English-Boer war has reached a point where the English must take the aggressive and fight the enemy on his own selected and fortified battlefield. Other things being equal this gives the advantage to the Boers. But the English propose to put men enough in the field to overcome the advantage of position and rush to victory with the force and momentum of heavy battalions.

Whatever may happen from movements of troops and maneuvering for advantage by the British it is plain to see that English blood will flow as the waters of a river before they can plant their flag in peace over the Boer land.
