DOGS IN CLINTWOOD DISTRICT ORDERED CONFINED

Although spending a full day on the job, the Board of Supervisors transacted little business in the regular monthly meeting Tuesday. The usual claims were ordered paid, and the usual requests came up, but many of these were of a very trivial nature.

The most important action, perhaps, was an order that all dogs in the Clintwood District be confined and not allowed at large unattended for a period of 45 days after September 12. A stock law petition was approved for the Twin Branch precinct in the Willis District. A hog law was enacted for the lower end of Frying Pan precinct.

The board recommended that a section of road in the Honey Camp neighborhood be taken into the secondary system. Just before adjournment, John D. Keeler, district engineer, came into the meeting, supposedly substituting for resident engineer Treet who is on vacation. There was no discussion of road matters.
