Last Night arrived a Ship in 14 Days from Antigua, from whence I have a Letter acquainting me, That a very large Fleet of French and Dutch Merchantmen were hourly expected at Martinico, under a strong Convoy; and that Commodore Moore, with the Ships undermentioned, was getting ready to intercept them, and block up the French Harbours.
The Captain was Five Weeks at Antigua, in which Time 14 French Privateers were brought in: the Cambridge, Amazon, Antigua, Tyger, and Col. Prevoft.
Besides the Antilope of 20, and the Tryal of 16 Guns are hourly expected from Cork, to join them.
