Contributions for Catholic Emigration.

Chicago, March 21.—A St. Paul, Minn., special to the Times says a large meeting of Catholics was held here to-day in answer to a letter from Father Nugent, of Liverpool, asking assistance in removing families from Ireland to some Catholic colony in this country. The meeting recommended the location of such families at the Catholic colony of Manville, Big Stone county. A collection of $606 was made, which will be forwarded to Father Nugent, and be devoted to paying the expenses of twenty-five families to the colony named.
