Through the strict military discipline of Cadet John P. Hawkins, of the AFROTC at A&T College in Greensboro, N.C., the Troopers have developed remarkable training skill.
Palmer Troopers making the trip are picture above: 1st Captain Wendell Scott, 2nd Captain Carlton Quiller, Commanding; 1st Sgt. Andre Jackson, 1st Sgt. Michael Gilford, M-Sgt. Kenneth Jackson, Sgt. Woodrow Odom, Cpl. Ronald Miller, Cpl. Oscar Blayton, Cpl. Wayne Butler, Cpl. Kenneth Wiggins, Cpl. Alex Jones, and Cpl. Newnan Epps.
Other officers who could not make the trip were: 1st Captain Charlie Humphries, 2nd Lieutenant James Blayton, and 2nd Lieutenant Robert Gray.
