WASHINGTON, Jan. 14.-(P)--A proposal by Chairman Thomas (D-Okla.) to rewrite the parity formula to force higher farm prices ran into opposition today from within the Senate Agriculture Committee. Voicing what he acknowledged was a minority protest, Senator Ellender (D-La.) said he was opposed to "taking any action that will disturb the price structure."
