Walker's Capture of Truxillo.—The New Orleans Picayune of the 25th ult. has full particulars of the last exploit of filibuster Walker—the capture of Truxillo. His whole force numbered 110 men. They approached the town in two separate parties.—The first was landed some three miles below the city on the beach, and proceeded toward the town by land. The second debarked in small boats, and proceeded along the shores. They were all well armed with Minie muskets, had twenty rounds of cartridge apiece, and were well supplied with everything else necessary. The fort was garrisoned by 75 to 100 soldiers, sustained by 300 to 400 patriots, and mounted two 24-pounders, besides some smaller pieces. As the two parties advanced fire was opened upon them from the two large guns. When within half a mile of the fort the land party fell into an ambuscade, but charged and quickly dispersed their assailants. The Americans then continued their advance in full defense of the fort, and the order was given to charge the rampart, which was done in handsome style, and the occupants driven in every direction before them. The firing at this time was sharp, and twelve of the natives were killed and as many more wounded, but Walker had only four of his men wounded. Some of the inhabitants left the place after its capture, but it is said many of the stores were open and doing business as usual. Cadenas, the rival of the Honduran President, is said to be in league with Walker, and assisting him in his plans of conquest.

Gen. Walker has raised the old Federal Central American flag, and contemplates a union of the five States of Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Salvador and Costa Rica.
