Another roaring mercy flight was made by a local pilot today as Dean Goodwin winged into Juneau late this afternoon with Dermott O'Toole, Alaska Air Transport radio operator at Tenakee who had become disabled with an illness at Tenakee and was rushed to Juneau for immediate hospitalization.

The radioman, who was met at the seaplane ramp by an ambulance, became ill yesterday, could not operate his radio set today.

Early this morning a call from Tenakee came over asking for a flight to pick up the operator. Dean Goodwin took off in the Bellanca to return with the sick O'Toole.

At press time today the radio operator had been taken to the hospital and was under the care of Dr. C. C. Carter. Exact nature of his illness is not given.
