PHILADELPHIA, September 22:

Extract of a Letter from London.

"The Parliament is prorogued till the winter, so there will be little news of any kind from this place for some time to come. I am very sorry though the Colonies have still so much ground to complain of the late Acts, &c. I cannot think what we are about here, to make laws which cannot be carried into execution. But I hope next year we shall fall upon some method of putting a final end to these heart burnings and misunderstandings. We cannot long go on in the track we have been following for some years past, and must necessarily turn over a new leaf. I wish it may be to the honor of this nation, and for the good of all British subjects every where."
