It is said that by Enquiry of those Gentlemen who have the Care of the several Wards in Town, that they do not find but about 120 Persons who are liable to have the Small Pox; and many of these seeing the remarkable great Mortality among those who have lately received that Distemper in what is called the natural Way, were desirous of having themselves and Families Inoculated; and upon their Request, Liberty has been given to such of them as have been in Town; and hitherto neglected it. By this Means it is thought the Town will be clear of Infection very soon.
