Mr. Roather went to the Fair in St. Paul last Saturday.
A party was given in honor of Mrs. Jas. Roatch last week.
Wm. Quarfoot and family moved into the town hall last week.
Geo. Grevious went to Superior Friday night on a business trip.
John Richardson of Neillsville Wis., visited at the Kelch home last week.
Mrs. R. D. Rutherford has been suffering from quinsy the past week.
Wm. Quarfoot made a trip to Superior Sunday night, returning Tuesday.
The Ladies' Aid served lunch in the Community Home last Thursday afternoon.
Mrs. Ole Pederson took her baby to Superior Sunday night to see the doctor.
Evelyn Bergman returned from her visit in Minneapolis last Tuesday afternoon.
R. D. Rutherford was a visitor at the State Fair a day or so during the past week.
The Markville ball team played Askov here Sunday but the visitors were too much for them
It is reported that several new families are expected to settle near Markville in the near future.
Miss Ella Richardson has accepted the principalship of the new consolidated school at Commer, Wis., for the coming school year.
