A resolution was adopted in both houses of Congress Wednesday setting apart Monday, the 27th of the present month, for the memorial services in honor of the late President, James A. Garfield. The proceedings will take place in the hall of the House of Representatives, and the occasion promises to be one of interest. Hon. James G. Blaine will deliver an address on the life and services of the deceased, to be followed by tributes by gentlemen selected for the occasion by the committee on arrangements.
