Levy Cherry's Dreadful Death.

Special Dispatch to The Appeal.

Newport, Ark., June 23.-As Levy Cherry was driving his team, hitched to a wagon, over Village Creek bridge, last night, the horses became frightened, and backed off the bridge and down a fourteen-foot embankment. He fell off under the wagon, breaking several of his ribs. He was extricated as speedily as possible and medical aid summoned, but he was a corpse in half an hour. He was a man of fifty, a native of this section, and highly respected by his neighbors.
