Full Text
Lord Wolseley thinks the Chinese race is destined to overrun the world. They will find some obstacles in the way when they begin. There is one great fact Lord Wolseley has overlooked, viz: the Chinese Empire is yet controlled and ruled over by the Tartar dynasty. When the descendants of Genghis Khan have been driven from the throne and the Chinese nation is again ruled by Chinese there will be time to talk of massing the Caucasian against the Mongolian civilization. When that time comes the Mongols will pass into history as fast as the new breech-loading Krupp gun will warrant.
