Extract from Isaac's letter accepting the dinner:
"Such of my friends as can come without a sacrifice, I will be happy to meet any day of next week that you gentlemen shall prefer: and perhaps it may not be improper to say, that I shall deem myself scarcely less honored by such of them as shall find it necessary or expedient to pursue those avocations at home, which the busy season of the year seems to require of them."
