The Journal of Saturday publishes an article in which it is insisted that there are at present in the United States—we quote the numbers and terms verbatim—“eight millions of Confederates battling in front and seven millions of Copperheads keeping up the fire-in-the-rear” making fifteen millions against “fifteen millions of Unconditional Union people.” Thus, according to this radical classification, the people of the United States are arrayed against each other, man for man. This is a pretty story to tell for the encouragement of the rebels and their sympathizers abroad. Such is no doubt the object of its publication:
