FELLOWSHIP.
If there is anything that a fellow needs in this day of close business practices to keep him off the rocks it is a friend. There is no thing finer in the world than genuine fellowship- friendship. Every fellow needs a friend, and a real friend is one in whose presence you can think aloud. The Rotary Club has, among many other important committees what is known as the Fellowship Committee. The duties of this committee are numerous. One of its important functions is to see that the members fraternize, get acquainted with each other, and talk over matters of mutual interest. You may have had a speaking acquaintance with a man for a quarter of a century and yet not know him at all; you may see him many times during each day, talk with him and yet not know him. Some men and women have neglected one of the most important things in life's journey-that of making friends. Too many people are socially stingy, they have become accustomed to moving around in a small circle and find it very difficult to get away from the habit. One of the main objects of the Rotary organization is to cultivate friendship among its members. The principal, if carried to its full fruition, would make the whole world one big brotherhood, and every fellow would be a friend to the other fellow.
