Arrival of U. S. Troops.—Company I, 1st Dragoons, U. S. A., arrived in Sacramento at about one o'clock P. M. on Saturday, and after halting on the levee for an hour or so, crossed the Yolo Ferry, and encamped in due form about a mile above Washington. They are under the command of Lieut. W. D. Pender, Lieut. Williams having left at Stockton for San Francisco. The company numbers fifty mounted men, and is accompanied by eight wagons—fifty-five horses and fifty-three mules—the latter being designed for draft only—the former for field service. It despatched Sept. 29th, 1856, from Fort Union, on the Rio Grande to Fort Tejon, arriving at the latter place on the 19th of December, and having since received orders to proceed to the Columbia River, Oregon, resumed the march on the 19th of May. They will leave Washington this morning for their destination via Fort Reading.
