TENNESSEE CONGRESSIONAL ELECTION.

In the first district of this State, Thomas D. Arnold (Whig) is elected, without opposition.

In the second district, Abraham McClellan (Opposition) is re-elected by a majority of about 400 votes. His majority at his last election was 2,000 votes; and the Van Buren majority in the same district at the late Presidential election was 600 votes.

In the third district, Joseph L. Williams (Whig) is re-elected, without opposition.

In the seventh district, (lately represented by Mr. Bell) Robert L. Caruthers (Whig) is chosen by a large majority over his opponent.

We have no returns from any other districts in the State than the above.—lb.
