Mr. J. S. Menken and the Young Women's Boarding Home.

To the Editor of The Appeal.

Mr. J. S. Menken has been traveling in the northwest, and the report of our work of the Young Women's Boarding Home, published in your paper, did not reach him until recently. He has written us a letter from New York that cheers and does us good, assuring us of his sympathy and hearty co-operation in the work. Thinking his letter may be an inspiration to others of our generous citizens, I take the liberty of asking you to publish a part of his letter. Mr. Menken says:
