BAD ACCIDENT.

Yesterday morning Peter O'Connor was brought to the hospital from Sprague, where he had met with a very painful and dangerous accident. As far as can be learned, he was engaged in blasting at the bottom of a well or ditch, and, having touched off a match, gave the signal to be drawn up; but, through some mistake, no one was on hand to answer the signal, and in consequence O'Connor was compelled to remain in his terrible position. His face was terribly burned and lacerated by the explosion, his nose broken, both eyes badly injured, and his right arm disabled. He suffered terribly, and is liable to have a very serious time though his friends hope that he will pull through.
