LODGE QUITS

The Fraternal Order of Mountaineers, with home offices at Billings, which was organized here two years ago is no more.

As a result of arrangements entered into between the Mountaineers and those of the Mystic Toilers of Des Moines, Ia., the business of the company has been secured by the Iowa concern which promises to reinsure all policy holders of the Mountaineers.

The lodge here was merely started, but did nothing afterwards, and it is not likely that any of the members will take any chances on any other new order when there are plenty of old and reliable lodges in town.

The Fraternal Order of Mountaineers was organized in this state in July 1905, and at the end of the year just closed, the roster showed more than 1,200 members all residents of Montana.

And many a man never realizes the value of his home until he has occasion to collect the fire insurance.
