Mr. Edward Burau, Senior Interviewer at the Sidney Employment Service was recently transferred to Polson, Montana. He was employed in the Sidney office for four years during which he worked as Veterans Employment Representative, Farm employment Representative and Employment Counselor, in addition to numerous other employment service activities. His new duties in the Flathead Lake Country will parallel those held in Sidney, however, the additional training he will receive in Polson will equip him for further advancement in Employment Service work.
He is being replaced by Mr. Alvin Fisher, a long time resident of Sidney and Richland County. Mr. Fisher, his wife Verna and two children reside at 302 11th Ave. S. E. He graduated from Sidney High School in 1944. Entered the Armed Forces and served two years in the Infantry. For the past 16 years he has been farming in the N. W. part of Richland County. He is assistant Scout Leader of Troop No. 140, a member of the Sidney Jaycees and the American Legion. He also served as assistant Fund Drive Chairman for the American Red Cross.
