Full Text

General Boyd—Where is Gen. Boyd? is often reiterated: An Eastern paper has answered the question—“He has been suspended; and Generals Izard and Brown, juniors in command, promoted over him to the rank of Major General."

To use the seaman's phrase, General Boyd, for some time past, has been under the hatches; and indeed there are very few of our generals who are not there or thereabouts. The whole revolutionary war, of seven long years, is challenged to have produced so many disgraced and discarded generals. Albany Gaz.
