Full Text

NORFOLK (Va.) August 2.

The Constellation's complement of men having been considerably reduced, by the expiration of the term for which a great many of them had shipped, a naval rendezvous was opened a few days ago, to supply the deficiency, which has been attended with the most pleasing result. The Constellation's crew is now nearly complete. We are assured officially, that within the last three days alone, 200 able seamen have entered for that ship. In a few days it is expected the rendezvous will be closed.
