Sabathani Baptist Church
"Trust in him at all times, ye people, pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us."

Sunday morning's worship hour began with devotions conducted by the deacon board. Music was rendered by the choir under the direction of Rev. Stanley King with Mrs. Velma Warder at the organ and Mrs. Etheleen Rivers at the piano. The congregational hymn was "Throw out the Lifeline." Scripture was read by Brother John Kittrell from 2nd Corinthians 13:1-14. The consecration prayer was by Rev. J. O. Tucker. Rev. Stanley King delivered an inspiring sermon using Jeremiah 12:5 as the scriptural foundation.

The 6:00 broadcast was taped in order that the choir might travel to the Olivet Baptist Church in Robbinsdale to present a program of song. The topic of Rev. King's radio message was "The Winning Team." The text was taken from Romans 8:31. Soloists were Elsie Sellars and Mrs. Stanley King.

The following people were added to our Christian family: Miss Linda Randall, candidate for baptism, Mr. Clint Stallworth, under watch care, and Mrs. Wilma Randall and Mrs. Lenora Dennis, by Christian experience.

Mrs. Cecelia Welton continues to improve at home. Among our other sick and shut-ins are Mrs. Elsie Simms, Mrs. Elsie Hall, and Mrs. Walter Woods. Let us remember them in prayer and visit them.

We invite you to attend any of our worship services. Sunday School for all ages is at 9:30, morning worship is at 10:45, and the evening broadcast is at 6:00. Bus service is available to all for Sunday school. Call FR 4-3244 or TA 4-3091 for further information.
