The Cumberland Times, in referring to recent addresses delivered before the Greeley and Brown Club of that city, by Jas. L. Vallandigham, Esq., of Ohio, and E. Willis Wilson, Esq., of this county, says of the latter:

"Added to a charming delivery, the clear, logical and earnest reasoning of the speaker carried conviction to the minds of the audience."

The Times then says: "It is rare that an opportunity is afforded of hearing two such excellent speeches as those of Saturday night. Both these gentlemen have left the city to take part in the campaign: Mr. Vallandigham to take the stump in Ohio, and Mr. Wilson in Connecticut."
