February 1. Last Tuesday an express arrived from Canada with dispatches for his Excellency the General, dated the 15th ult. We have the pleasure to hear that our army, notwithstanding the loss sustained in the late unfortunate attack upon Quebec, still continues the blockade of that city; and that we have good grounds to hope that the reduction of that capital will be completed before the spring, as we have authentic intelligence that reinforcements from various quarters have been poured in to the assistance of our brave little army.
