NEW YORK, NY - The Downtown
Athletic Club of New
York City, Inc. has announced the
registration of Marion E. Jackson
as one of the nation's more than
1600 electors for the 1959 Heisman
Memorial Trophy Award Poll.
Richard L. Harris, chairman of
the Heisman Memorial Trophy
Committee, points out that 1959 is
the 25th anniversary of the Heisman
Memorial Trophy Award,
Football's Greatest Individual
Award, which is presented annually
to the college football player
elected as the most outstanding in
the United States by Sports Editors,
Sportswriters, Sportscasters
and telecasters across the country.
