TO BUILD ADDITIONAL CONCRETE ROADS ON THE EASTERN SHORE

Mr. M. B. Hoyt, who is State Engineer on the concrete road being constructed from Tasley to Rue, was notified last week to make the survey for five more miles of concrete road to extend the road now being built. Just when the contract will be let will depend to a great extent on the time it takes to secure the right of way. If this additional mileage is built the concrete road will extend to what is known as Buzzard's Hill between Nelsonia and Mappsville. All persons living on this right of way who are willing to give the right of way in order to hurry up the letting of the contract and the building of the road are requested to notify Mr. M. B. Hoyt, Accomac, Va. In addition to the five miles to be built in this county 10 miles are to be built in Northampton, beginning at the end of the stone road at Cape Charles and extending up through Eastville.
