Cholera At New York.—The official report of the mortality in the city of New York during the past week states the whole number of deaths at 415, being an increase of 105 over the number reported for the corresponding week of last year. As usual, consumption takes the lead in the work of death. But an alarming feature in the report is that during the week 12 persons died of cholera, 12 of cholera morbus, 5 of cholera infantum, 16 from dysentery, and 7 from diarrhœa. It is said that all the victims of cholera were of foreign birth. None, however, can be too careful in the choice of diet.
