Sweden.—There is, we understand, no doubt that the invasion of Swedish Pomerania by the French accelerated the negociations which have been long pending between the courts of Stockholm and London, and that an amicable arrangement is in progress. No minister has arrived from Sweden, but it is certain that Baron Rehhausen has resumed his functions as charge d'affaires for this country, and now acts in that capacity till the arrival of a new minister in Great Britain. It is also true that Bernadotte has made proposals for peace with this country, which have been communicated to the Prince Regent; and that the Swedish agent had an interview on Tuesday last with our minister for foreign affairs. Indeed a confident hope may be entertained that a peace will immediately be concluded between the two countries.
