Mr. Wilkes' daughter was with him in his chariot yesterday going towards the city: the horses had as much blue ribbon about them as might have served for a general election. The gaping holiday-folk looking on all the time as he passed through the Strand, but not one huzza could he get, though his head was nodding, like a Chinese figure, at every object that noticed him.
