LONDON April 5. The 7th regiment (Colonel Preston's) of Light dragoons are to embark at Portsmouth for America. The above regiment consists of 60 men from each of the other, and is formed into 12 companies of one hundred men each.

Wednesday new clothing for the Guards, who are going to America, was shipped on board some transports lying at the Tower wharf; and they immediately fell down to Gravesend, to proceed thence for Spithead; and yesterday morning the waggons that have been at the Tower wharf some time, were begun to be shipped on board some transports.

Yesterday a messenger was sent from the Admiralty to Portsmouth, with dispatches for General Howe, to be sent by the Greyhound sloop, now ready to sail for Boston.
