Patriot's Theme Used By O.W.C.
The Fleet Sonar School Officers' Wives' Club celebrated the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln and George Washington at its coffee Wednesday, February at Fort Taylor. The cherry jam spread on the variety of breads served by Mrs. F. J. Baczenski and Mrs. J. A. Black was in honor of George Washington,
while the log and axe centerpiece symbolized Abraham Lincoln.
The revised by-laws were distributed to those present and the amendments were read to and approved by the members.
Tentative plans for a party to be given March 2 at Fort Taylor by the club were discussed during the business meeting presided over by Mrs. C. H. Lowry. Mrs. J. H. Ratliff was chosen as chairman of this committee.
