Mr. Lancaster.--We understand that the celebrated Mr. Lancaster has proceeded to Philadelphia for the purpose of putting to press, a history of his expedition to Columbia, which will also contain a view of the present situation of the republic. Mr. L. it is said, never received the $20,000 for the draft given him by Bolivar; it remained at present unpaid in London. The opinions which he entertains of South America, are not the most favorable, and are expressed openly and fearlessly.--N. Y. Statesman
