Rome, Feb. 11. A private Person, one Francis Montelli, has solicited his Holiness, for the sole Privilege of erecting in this City, proper Stoves, for the manufacturing of all Sorts of Glass, Looking-Glasses, &c. in the same Taste and Manner as those made in Bohemia, and at Venice.

His Holiness, having duly weighed his Petition, and being conscious to himself, that should his Undertaking meet with the desired Success, our Nobility would be furnished with various Commodities of that Kind, at a much cheaper Rate, than they could procure them from Abroad, has granted him all the Privileges and Encouragement that he required.
