OLIVER COMPANY'S RETURN ENGAGEMENT.
When "His Honor the Mayor" is seen at the Grand Opera House for a return engagement on Thursday night, it will be the last opportunity afforded to witness this wonderfully clever company together. Next season Mr. Harry Kelly, who created and plays the eccentric comedy character part of Deacon Flood will be put forward as a full fledged star in a new musical play now being written for him, and for which time has already been contracted for at a leading Broadway theater. Miss Nella Webb, the charming little comedienne, who is this season playing the part of Daisy, the milliner girl, in "His Honor the Mayor," is also scheduled by Manager Alfred E. Aarons to occupy the center of the stage next season in the stellar role of a new musical comedy by Harry B. Smith to be produced at the Walnut Street Theater, Philadelphia. The dancing dolls who created a sensation when seen here before are booked in the leading music halls of London, where they were originally imported from, for extended engagements beginning next June, consequently it will undoubtedly be impossible another season to get together this same company or to assemble another one equally as clever.
