8 Wisconsin Co-ops Put on Radio Program

Eight cooperatives in north central Wisconsin are going together to sponsor a 30 minute radio program over WSAU at Wausau, it was announced last week with Frank Nowaczyk's orchestra as the big attraction.

The program will run for 13 Sundays beginning Easter Sunday from 12 to 12:30 p. m., with each co-op being allowed a certain amount of time to tell about itself and the cooperative movement.

The co-ops taking part are the shipping associations at Merrill, Antigo, Marathon and Wausau, the Wausau Co-op Dairy, Farmers Co-op Oil Ass'n., Merrill, the Antigo Co-op Oil Ass'n. and the Cloverbelt Co-op Oil Ass'n., at Wausau.

Nowaczyk, the orchestra leader, is a cooperator himself and teaches 7 adult education classes in rural Marathon county which are discussing such topics as economics, cooperation, and parliamentary law. Frank and his Melodiers often play for co-op meetings and parties.
