Bowling Lanes To Open
It is expected that the new bowling alley now under construction behind Marathon Theatre will be completed and ready for use about June 20. Cliff Miller and Gene Rhodus will operate the business. Later on a restaurant and coin operated laundry are planned in connection with the bowling establishment.
Incidentally, I have been furnished with an extremely interesting piece on the history of bowling—hope to run it in the column soon. You will be surprised at its colorful background.
