Full Text

Col. Billy Watson, the bold broth of a boy from Lancaster, was in the city on Tuesday attending Court. His friend and countryman, Col. O'Weldy, presented him with a high silk hat, same size as the O'Weldy hat, and Billy promenades the boulevards of the Queen City, the handsomest statesman of the city. He will paralyze the O'Garrs and O'Regan, O'Tarpey, the Scanlans and Scallions, when he parades the plazas in Lancaster with that hat. Mr. Watson is one of the most estimable citizens of Lancaster and it is a pleasure to his many friends in Logan to meet him when he comes among us, or to meet him when we go to Lancaster.
