CALYPSO KING Mighty Power: (left) was selected Calypso King at Wednesday night's contest at Lionel Roberts ballpark. The judge's decision was not popular with the crowd and was greeted with catcalls and boos. Lord Yul Brynner (upper middle) was runner-up. He was a crowd favorite. Lord Christo and Lord Melody (lower middle) clown near the end of the evening, and Lord Obstinate (lower left) is shown singing about Benny Paret. Obstinate was under contract to the St. Thomas Junior Chamber, which also sponsored Calypso Tent. Music was supplied by the Harmonics.
